I have a T42 and it will not boot-up and I can't get into the BIOS for boot-up.
I don't get and beeps for any error messages, I have removed the hard drive and the dvd/cd and still no beeps, what can I do?

Do you get any lights at all? Is the battery dead?

I get lights and the battery is good and I'm using the power cord.

Can you get it to boot off a cd?
If so download the Ultimate boot CD burn the ISO using something like Nero or MagicISO and boot up, then run the harddrive diagnostics and see if your drive has died.

tried booting from CD, no response. no good.
