Best Motherboard For E8400?

the 780i is the exact same board as he 680i, with a few compatibility upgrades.

Isnt there something better about it? I heard it had a faster fsb or something

It has a heatsink on the Nb, and one of the really expensive models might support 1600, but I think only x48 supports that.

oh, well I dont know my stuff. But what processors run at 1600? only the extreme right? so does that really matter?

I've seen benchies between 1066 and 1333 and it was barely anything. So I'm guessing 1333 to 1600 is not that much of a jump either.

Yeah im defiantly getting the e8400 i don't care what anyone says, their are no heat problems. Only miss-readings.

If those heat problems were more true then scare then people wouldn't be able to overclock to 4.0 ghz and stay stable, would they?

at the 8400 price I'd rather get a quad. Yea it's nice to have 4+ ghz clocks but I'd prefer the extra two cores
