i was using Ballistix DDR2-800

you have to come up with your own settings. you can't go by mine. thats just a baseline

every cpu chip and every motherboard are different. my VID is one of the lowest on the Q6600's. thats why I can run a stable OC with a lower voltage.

i can't stress enough to try other voltages especially for the CPU. mine will NOT work for every 680i and Q6600

Ok, ill experiment

Im pretty sure i have the same ram...

And i DID turn off CIE, but i dont think i turned off speedstep

I'd be happy with 3.2, but i want to try some sucidie runs when i find a comfortable stable place

ok, thanks ill try that now

idk what you mean or what to do when u say link the ram to 1:1...

btw i had a scary moment, i set some stuff in bios and then it never stopped posting so i restarted the comp and then i got no response from monitor... and my 680i was displaying 26 on that little green thing...

I was about to pop out the cmos battery, lol... but i tried starting it up again and it just went to defualt settings, so i set them back up to be 2.85 again... I'm gonna try more tommorow but im done for today

where it says "unlinked" put it to linked, then the next thing down put it to 1:1 under that option

if it doesnt boot then put the settings to 5-5-5-15-2T and see how it goes
