Will this motherboard work with my other iteams? I don't plan to overclock, should I get a heatsink anyway?
 
thanks for pointing that out. I don't know much about that manufacturer but the price seems worth it.
 
Looks like a good build, stock heatsink should be fine they really do cool very well if clipped on right. Unless you have extra money just go with the stock heatsink.
 
especially if you plan on overclocking your Q6600, get a aftermarket HS/F.

For cheap, get an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro
For something more expensive, get Tuniq Tower 120 or Zalman CNPS 9700

if you're going to oc, consider upgrading to a 600W PSU so you have more headroom.

that 520 will be plenty. and i'd stay away from the zalman, but the TT120 is good or the TRUE. but thats only if your gonna OC otherwise the stock intel cooler is not too bad.
