Crysis Brings my setup to it's Knees.
Q6600 @ 3.7 Ghz
8800 GTX
2 GB Ballistix tracers
Abit IX38 Quad GT

Resolution: 1440X900
Settings: All Custom, the crysis modification file here:http://www.techist.com/forums/f15/advanced-crysis-tweaking-162787/
AA: 16Q
Average FPS: 20-25

With no AA I get 35 FPS.

Heh, I get about 20-30fps as well with my setup, but its a bit different than yours.

e6750 @ 3.53GHz
8800GTS 320 @ 660/1010
2GB G.Skill (red heatspreaders) + 2GB OCZ Gold
GB p35-ds3r

1440x900
Same custom settings modification as you're using.

I think it's actually quite playable at 25 or so fps.

1280x1024, Custom very high DX9 settings (different one from these guys), no AA I get about 35 fps, which dips into the 20's on a couple scenes in the game.

8600? Not a chance. Like someone already said, put it in the box and put it away until you can properly enjoy the game. It's REALLY not worth it without the amazing graphics. But with them, totally worth it.

Well, i agree that this game isnt worth playing without the graphics.
thats the only reason i wanted to play it and i know my pc isnt so great anymore

I will probably just wait 5 years or so so i can upgrade when i have the money, maybe once i get up into college or something.

Right now i dont have a job and i am trying not to spend alot of time on my pc, but i would be awsome to sit back and enjoy photo realistic settings while shootting the **** out of weird *** robotic monsters.

o well :) thanks for the advice
