Can anyone recommend software for me?

I need to transfer my VCR Tapes to my Comp i have a ATI AIW 9200 but the ATI software wont let me do proper tapes only things ive recordr any suggestions please

which version of Tv-Tuner you have?

PAL/NTSC? your VCR tapes might not be of same vesion, so arent compatible with.

lemme know information, though am not into this TV capture stuff, but will probably some out with some solution.

i think u must be having PAL TV-Tuner built in, sa u r in UK

Yeah im in the UK im using ATI AIW 9.1 using composite s-video is in black and white i can record tapes that i have recorded but not proper tapes i belived i have removed macrovision but when i go to do proper tapes i get broadcast signal blocked view only i use PAL i can record with NTSC but cant see anything hopeyou can help

i though have 2 sealed packed AIW's 9600 as a dead stock on NTSC tuners, but I dont know how to play with that stuff.

try putting this post into some appropriate forum, i have limited knowledge in AIW's

the same company that makes powerDVD makes a video-in (composite in) capture program which should suit your needs. It compress real time ie. DivX 5 etc. I'm not sure how much it costs, but shouldnt be too much. And its compatible with both Pal, NTSC, and SECAM.

Ahh still the same problem just get a green screen when im recording
