Urgent Help Please! asap

Me and my brother went and turned off our comps and then swaped video cards. So then I turned on my comp and it loads in fine right on to Windows XP desktop. As for my brothers, his computer stops recieving images once Windows Xp is loaded in and is going to desktop. Right when desktop is suppost to show the screen just goes black and his moniter than says it's not getting any more signals. We even tried exanging the video cards back but mine still loads in good and his stops recieving signals.

Any one know what is happening! Help Asap would be greatly apprciated!

1:Tell me hardware specs in terms of mobo.

2: System RAM

3: What cards you've been using? tell me both? like what u have in first plaec and what ur brother has?

4: ending resolution, means what u were before swapping, and ur brother?

Did you uninstall the VC software and Divers before you switched them ?
