best cpu cooler

wait... do u want the best one to cool your system, or the quietest!! Pick one, because the Scythe S-Flex isn't the quietest thing around and its a good cooler (I'm nto saying its loud, but its like a little less that average)

well i was looking around and found the scythe slip streams, 1200rpm is only 24dBA which is less than some of the 800s i saw. but im looking for a balance of performance and noise.

its going to be for the e8400 OCd in probably a coolermaster 690 or antec 900, what fans do you guys recommend?

AF7 and CM690

although you could get either case...but that is all preference

It is there huge and heavy, it made my board sag when I put one in....


However theres not much better out there and the sagging went away when I put some more supports under the board.

They are a pretty good cooler for a decent price and almost noiseless

You can have my TRUE when you pry it from my cold dead hand. The scythe s-flex fans are pretty quiet when they are inside the case. Using them as case fans, is a different story.

what are your clocks at because if they are stock or not that high, my STOCK cooler runs my cpu cooler than that.
