So I really really like this processor:

and I like these two motherboards:

This one has HThreading noted, different southbridge, less SATA ports, less audio channels, no SATA raid:

Yes but it does not have onboard video; I'm not looking to get a seperate video card for display.

Yes it will, all ATX cases that I have seen have the appropriate standoff holes for mATX.

Even the rear panel lines up? what about all the slots for the PCI cards on the rear?

Ill need to see your case, a link to it, to say for certain.

But I am going to go ahead and say it will be fine. No problems.

What about temperature? wouldn't it being small and closer together cause more heat?

also there are no reviews for that microATX board on newegg so I have no idea how it worked out for people.
