Macbook Pro Upgrade?

Hey,
Wondering what's the deal with macbook's and being able to upgrade the RAM after buying one with 2Gb up to 4Gb.
Is it possible?
That's the ony upgrade I'm wanting to do, since the cost of building the thing (through the Apple site) with 4Gb is gonna cost an extra $1000.

I think apple use there own brand ram an you might be stuck with there stuff which costs a fir bit more than regular off the shelf ram.

Defenitley possible. I know you can use up to 3 gigs but i'm not sure about 4. You don't need to buy apple ram. I've talked to many people that own macs and apple makes a lot of money off of people buying their ram. You just have to make sure the ram is the right speed.

On the Apple site you can choose to expand to 4Gb so I'm guessing that it can run 4Gb.
