I've read the reviews of both and they both seem to be good....but what is the real difference.

I want to buy the 6800 because its $287 ......... but if it sucks compared to the GT ill pay $395

thanks

The GT is alot faster and is better, you will get better overclocking abilites and performance with it than the other one. I have it and it blows away anything else that i have ever had.

think of the 6800gt as a highly overclocked version of the 6800. i
if you can fork over the extra $100, i would recommend it.

thats y i didnt replied for this post (meansw suggestions) as I dont have 6800,
at least i know the difference:

6800 has 12 pipelines, 1 molex connector, and 1 slot

6800GT has 16 pipelines, 2 molex and slots

Khe Khe Khe

The 6800 also offers 128mb more video memory (256) which is really handy.

6800- Good deal for not so serious gamers

6800 GT- Awesome deal for all

6800 Ultra- Not worth the money (just a little faster than the GT which can be oc'd to beat it)

6800 EE- Meh..way too much money.

No , its an underclocked version of the 6800 Ultra . Because it only runs a bit slower and has 16 pipelines like the Ultra while the 6800 only has 12 pipelines .

ok, sorry for the mixup.

however i did know that, i just didn't want to go into the details, so i just simply made it sound like a souped up version, which it is.
