maxtors are probably the lowest quality drives on the average market, i would go with a seagate 7200.10 series drive

Do you really need the quad core? Do you mainly game? If so, look for the e8400. it is a dual core, but it is much faster than the q6600, cheaper, and will run circles around games. If you do a lot of video editing, and really intense things like that, then go with the quad, but if not, pick up the e8400, it will run really nice
