I'm running windows XP and I get this error message every couple minutes.

svchost.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x00b09eec" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

any help?

Google for MemTest86 and download and burn the ISO to a CD. From there run it overnight. This error message is common with bad RAM.

No. This will just tell you if your RAM is bad. If so you will have to replace it. After it will go away.

What if the RAM doesnt have problems. And the message still keeps popping up? What should I do then?

If it isnt bad RAM then we have to find what is causing this. Moer times than not it is bad RAM. Sometimes it is just a access error to that part of the RAM cause it is in use by another application. We will find out after you run MemTest.

I ran memtest, and I got this error

wall time: 2:55
cached: 1535 M
RsudMem: 716k
MemMap: e820-Std
cache: on
ECC: off
test: STD
pass: 1
errors: 0

What now?

Okay so it isnt a RAM error. So it would be application based. What applicaitons were you running when this occured?
