It's newish. I just bought the 120mm version, which gets very good reviews and on frostytech even beats the Thermalright Ultra 120 in some cases

The paste that comes with the cooler is fine.

Goodluck w/ your 2180. Its a great processor for the money. 2.9-3.0 can be had w/ stock vcore. Hopefully yours oc's better than mine does. Not to scare you but I wanted a 4 ghz oc. Still awesome though running it at 3.0
