HD keeps on spinning up

my HD for some reason every time it keeps on spinning up then after few seconds does it again its really annoying, i dont know whats up with it its not my C drive its one of my other drives il find out what one, what can i do

So you have multiple hard drives in your system, and this is happening on one of them?

Do you mean after a period of inactivity, your hard drive powers down and stops spinning, then starts spinning again, and the cycle repeats?

Have you checked your power management settings to see if your hard drive is set to power down after a period of inactivity?

Try to run a virus scan and a spy ware scan. It sounds like something is accessing the drive all the time.
