Edit: I figured out the problem, and I feel like a total n00b, the floppy disc I was using only held like 1.4mb for some reason. I have to go out and buy a new pack of floppy discs before I try to copy the files again. Sorry for wasting your time guys. Although you did help me get the drive itself working.
