ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard

what are the differences?

not all that much...I believe the maximus just gives you a little bit more in terms of overclock control

but as you can see, not much, price difference is nominal

theres a little sticker that hides the Maxiums Formula ingraved in the p5e board, what does that tell you

BIOS are different..Maximus lets you control voltages a little more than the P5E

well thats what you get for a stickerless, 30 dollar more expensive board.

with the maximus you get teh reset cmos button, you get two gigabite ports, you get onboard on and off switch you get the full version of 3dmark06, stalker shadows of chernobyl and kasperky anti virus. you also get better over clocking features, and an lcd poster when your which will display errors when your comp will not post, that thing saved me last night from trouble shooting my comp for 3 hours. the 30 bucks extra is well worth it in my opinion.
