Acer 22" CrystalBrite VS Samsung 20"

Wow, didn't know about Viewsonics. Also, as I found out, the Acer one does NOT have a DVI input. Is that a big issue?

Yeah, that changes everything. Dvi or hdmi input is best, i would not buy a new screen with only vga.

As I want 22" ideally, but it's out of budgie. I can afford a good 19" but I feel it's too small, so then it's 20", and that Samsung is probably the best bet.

Well, thanks to you all. I did a lt of thinking and actually think that I'm going to get LG L226WT 22" LCD TFT, Silver, 2ms, 16:10, 3000:1 Contrast Ratio, 1680 x 1050 Resolution, DVI

It works out just a bit more expensive, but it's 22", it's LG quality and has good reviews. I'll probably pop down to some shops to check it out live later.

sounds great. I've wanted an LG for some time. I can see alot of potential with these monitors when modding is an option. i've seen some killer monitor mods.

Why not just order the 226BW from newegg for 240$ after MIR? That way you get your 22" screen and a good quality monitor (from my personal experience i have one )
