Hi
I was wondering if DVI is more computationally intensive than RGB? i mean if my GPU is connected to a DVI based TFT screen would it be doing more work or if it is connected to an RGB based TFT screen or CRT screen would it be doing more work and consequently heating up. or would they be the same?

why ar you mixing the RGB with connectors?

you should have mentioned D-SUB instead of RGB.

now the thng is, both D-SUB and DVI gives same output, only differenec is that:

1: DVI has auto ajdustments of Brighness/Contrast, where in D-SUB you can specifiy your own (manually adjustable).

2: DVI is digital, actually made in case if you are in capturing the video's from TV, then transferring via D-SUB makes their size bigger, and DVI makes their size smaller (in layman's terms).

yes, load will be definately saame, the load on GPU (in idle) only depends on the resolution of your Monitor (higher resolution, higher load and vice verca)
