Hello,
Wondering what laptop would best suit, (in order of most use {if that makes sense}):
video editing,
audio mixing,
everything adobe/macrcomedia,
internet use,
and very minor gaming?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I hear Asus makes great laptops but thats mostly for gaming. not sure how video, audio, macromedia would run on a laptop.

Lenovo makes decent laptops as well.

The first thing is first you need a budget. If you want to spend a few grand then go with a dell xps, or HP Pavilion dv9700. But if you want something affordable then go with a acer.

Any laptop can do those things, just look for the basic components, and a price range and company you like. Get at least a dual-core, 2gb ram, 100gb hd, 8400/8600m. I recommend at least 15.4" screen, or even better 17".

Ok, say I was to scrap any gaming part of it all together.
Budget isn't an issue. I just want something very RELIABLE and quite FAST.

I've got a 500Gb external HDD so the internal capacity doesn't bother me much. Although 100Gb or 120Gb will probably still help alot.

With the Mac Book's is there cross compatability with a PC? (As in link them together to send files across)
