780i will overclock just as well....you are going to be more limited by your temps than by how much you can push the CPU.

i say go 780i and get a GTS later on when the prices drop.

what about the nb temps? and I just see people like veedub sayin "screw this" with SLi. I dont want to be down that road..

i've yet to see anyone have problems with SLI that weren't fixed after doing a little research...

i mean, its not complicated....people just go in over their heads and don't research stuff before making a decision/buying or when something goes wrong.

your NB temps are going to be fine, i never once had a problem with my 680i..i could boot my quad at 475FSB (4275MHz)

a simple thing such as a case fan can fix the northbridge problems
