Went to bed last night, computer was running fine....came home from work today and it was turned off (not incredibly rare but...) so i hit the power button and I get nothing. However the LED on the motherboard is lit up. Should I just swap out the power supply?

i was working one time...power spike...pc turned off and stayed off...wouldn't turn on when I hit the pow button

I reset it by hitting the switch on the back...psu on/off switch...try that

so....do you have another pow supply?
if you do, swap out and see...easiest step in troubleshooting...hopefully that'll be it

to save the configuration made in the BIOS

nope....only thing that happens is the led is on. I'm going to buy a new power supply today and swap it to see if it works. i'll be awful sad if it doesn't. thanks for all your help!

I have the exact same problem. Did just changing the PSU work for you?
