what is it called, its a hard drive were you copy movies on to it and you can plug n play on your tv, i tell you why i need one because my tv is not in the same location as my pc so i want to play my movies on my tv without all the time unplugging my pc and moving it across to my tv

You don't need a hard drive. You can use a wireless media extender.

yeah but for me to use a wireless media centre i need to have at least 10mb or if not faster and also if anyone uses the internet while im watching a movie wont it be CRAP

It doesn't use much bandwidth. If you have a 54Mbps wireless router, you should be fine. It doesn't use your internet connection, it uses the wireless signal to bridge data from your computer to the TV.
