Loud Hard Drive on Inspiron 6000

Hi everyone,

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 with a Celeron M, running Windows XP Home.
The hard drive (or at least I think it's the hard drive, I don't think a Celeron fan can make that much noise) is VERY loud, just making a general humming sound from the moment I turn it on to the moment I turn it off.
(Just for comparison, my Dell Inspiron B120 with almost exactly the same specs, just 512 MB less RAM, makes much less noise.)
I've searched on Google, to no avail.
The hard drive appears to be Hitichi due to a search for the model number on Google.
Device Manager says the hard drive is:
HTS548040M9AT00
Can someone please help? The noise is driving me nuts!

if its loud.... its loud, nothing you can do unless its loose or something

its probably because its a different hard drive thats why one is louder probably. and the one thats louder probably is a higher RPM than the other one.
