I have a 3 level house. My office w/ modem is on the top floor. My PS2 & XBox are on the 1st level. Is it possible to run Stand Cat5E UTP wire from the top to the bottom floor, with jacks mounted on the wall on each end? Then be able to plug my PS2 and/or Xbox in to the jack downstairs and run a cable from my router to the jack up stairs? Or would it be best to run a patch cable? Whatever is best, cost is not an option.
