I am going to get a hard drive that is used only for XP...

How big should I get? I was thinking of a 80GB...that way it covers any programs/games I install....and then just keep my music and dvds on my Seagate.

Is 80GB enough space. Or should I spend $6 extra and get a 160GB?

depends how many games you have

on my 74 gig raptor it left me pretty fast

had steam.. and just about all half life related games, cod4, crysis, 2 worlds, madden 08 and my hard drive space was just about gone.. i think 160 would be perfect if you have a good number of games.. if you don't have too many games 80 should do fine

let see:

far cry, crysis, cod4, graw, graw2, lost planet, quake4, doom 3, etc. yeah i may need a 160GB

i've got a bid on a 80GB on ebay for $25 shipped right now....it ends soon

I have Windows on a 40 gig partition. I had my games and stuff on a separate 250 gig. The setup worked very well. Once I replace my 250, I will go back to that setup, with Vista on another 40 gig partition,

or you could just set up a partition on your 320 gig.. set aside about 10 gigs just for your opterating system... and the rest to your games and music and such

me.. i have a partition for music and pictures, and another for the os
