The X800 GPU is a a better generation than the 9800 XT, their architecture is completely different... you can't really compare.

ok look.... im back but anyway... right now i have a 9800xt but. It runs Very very hot since all XT cards have a built in temperature sensor. right now mine is running at 65 degrees C. Now just picture u OCing that... You would need some good watercooling to OC it cause if u use a fan to OC it, its gonna burn out or shut off cause it will get too hot.

lol my card is at 71c right now.. That's odd though, because it's usually 69c when my side panels are on my case.. and my case is wide open right now (been having mobo controller probs) but regardless, the 9800xt is killing me.. I'm just waiting for spring when the prices on some things have dropped, etc..

Tell me about it, the XT puts out so much heat, i swear it puts out more heat than all the other components in my computer COMBINED.
