Vista Automatic Restart On Downloading Any File

Vista's giving me a weird problem...
i am running Vist OEM Dell......

whenever I download any file (installer) the PC gets restarted neatly by shutting appliations immediately......
this is really annoying

also I have disabled the AUTOMATIC RESTART option in ADvanced SYstem SEttings.....

What turned out to be the problem? At least this way if someone asks again we can answer it for them.

the problem was of a spyware...
W32.Rontok Worm
W32.Spybot.Worm
