Intel xeon x3220 compatible with core 2 quad boards?

I won a free server at an intel seminar.. So really all I have outta that rig is just the cpu and the drives.. rest is scrap =/
 
If you can find an X3210 or X3220 cheaper than a Q66 then yea, go for it.

They aren't advertised as specifically G0 like the Q66s are though, so you might be better off getting a guaranteed G0 Q66.

EDIT: Oh! you have it already! well yea, any 775 board that'll take Q66s will run it just fine. :p
