Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

i had a massively overclocked x1900xt under water and it struggled with games @ max details @ 1440x900

scored almost 8000 i think

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

huh.. my x1950xtx w/ a core 2 duo played everything at 1680x1050 be it battlefield 2, dark messiah, cs:s... don't think there was really anything i couldnt play at the time

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

I was talking about newer games like CoD4 and UT3

It played them with no AA at max details but I would get 30-40fps dips in UT3, which is unacceptable for that kind of game...and dips in the low 20s in CoD4, cured by turning some settings down..but IMO that's no fun.

And Crysis was unplayable of course unless I turned everything to medium, and thats no fun either :p Crysis looks like complete crapola @ medium

Dissapointed. Also, I don't think it's running at x1; just a glitch.

I couldn't get any higher stable on the cpu, and the GPU won't OC at all... so... yep.
