An Ode to the Beep

I want to take a minute to bow.

Every time someone spends 10 hours building a computer. Every time a techy in a server-room in Beijing finds the light at the end of the fiber-optic. Every time the CMOS is reset. Every time a boy or girl gets to flip the switch. Every time an old-timer rekindles his youth in the neon-colored lights before his eyes. Every time that one piece fits just right, or that socket somehow slips in. By miracle or happening, I want to take a minute to bow.

Thank you Mobo, may your beep ring around the world.
