Hard drive wipe

Not sure where to put this, so I'll start here...

I am looking for a program that will completely erase (I'm selling it) a hard drive, while in an external mode... I don't want to install the thing, just to wipe it. I have been doing a lot of looking, but I have yet to find something "portable" so-to-speak.

I looked at that one, but it appears to me that I can't run it in a windows environment. it'll kill a disk yes, but I have to install it, from what I was reading.
