DISTRIBUTION: Ubuntu 7.10
OTHER: Works flawlessly, upgraded from 7.4 that seemed to have a issue with my laptops wireless (not allowing to connect to network but showing it was available) 7.10 works right from the beginning.

UPDATE: Sadly 7.10 has proved to be a little on the unstable side randomly wont find network, refuses to connect and randomly disconnects. So it worke's but far to unstable for regular use.

I don't know the model number, but it looked like this:

which is a WMP54Gv2 with a Broadcom BCM4306KF8 54gâ„¢ Chipset and removable antenna. I'm pretty sure that is it, uses standard Broadcom firmware which comes up in the restricted drivers manager.
