I have recently or I should say about a few months ago, upgraded my existing hardware but too lazy or found little time to change my sig. My desktop now has 3GB of DDR SDRAM and running first gen Athlon X2. It's old and you'll be surprised how expensive that RAM was compared to newer DDR2 prices!!! More than double the price!!! Probably a bad investment on my part but this old desktop has been with me for 3+ years now and still works great. Just needed a little extra boost for Vista.

I never had an XT, but I always said I wanted one bad. I had the PRO, and I sold it a long time ago. I just got the 8800GT recently.

Yes, that is my PSU. But don't let that review fool you, as well as alot of the other's at newegg. Apokalipse and I, can back that up. And also, something must of happened to that link, because the time I bought it, it had many good reviews in newegg.

ok, thanks man, if I were to get that instead of the 550vx, do you think its got enough amperage to support the system in my specs with a heavy oc'ed Phenom b3 Black edition or FX w/ an hd3870 x2?
