Is the following a decent computer? As in, one that'll be sufficient for both modern and a few years to come's worth of games?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Processor, 1GB (two 512 DDR2-800 RAM cards) RAM, 320 GB hard drive. 1 PCI Express and 2 PCI expansion slots, 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT (PCI Xpress) video card, G965M-F Motherboard

I'd throw in 2GB of ram. Newegg sells two 1GB sticks for about $33 after rebate:
