Thoughts on a build

I would appreciate your thoughts on these components. I am near the upper end of my budget. The purpose of this computer is to play games (battlefield 2 for the most part) and watch/download videos and music among other things. Here is what I'm thinking-

I'm fairly confident that these are quality components, I just don't know if they will all be compatible.

If your playing battlefield, 7600GT is good enough, while a e6750 is overkill, but a better CPU doesn't hurt.

Yeah, a 7600 on that build is completely wrong. At least go with a 3850 or 3870, if not a 8800 GT/GTS.

The power supply is a bit overkill for that setup, but it's not really a big deal since you're not saving much money by going with a lower wattage one.

If I go with a 8800, they are dx 10. Will I be able to play dx 9 games using a dx 10 graphics card (such as bf2?)

Ditch the Raptor for a Seagate 11 series. 32MB cache, almost as fast as the Raptor, much more space, cheaper. Put the money you save towards a better GPU. If you wanna put some more money into a better GPU you could replace the e6750 with an e6550. Since you're getting a good aftermarket HSF I assume you're going to be overclocking, so after OCing either one will be more than enough.

Edit: ^ Yes you will. It won't be in DX10 of course, but you'll still play in DX9 just fine.
