If you though that the five new 45nm Penryn mobile CPUs will be enough for Intel then please remember one name - Montevina. This is the upcoming mobile platform which will be released this May and will arrive with a fresh batch of processors.
No less than 15 CPUs will be introduced together with the Montevina platform and they will be divided into two packaging segments one being the usual 35 square mm, the other 25 square mm. The first segment will include seven quad- and seven dual-core processors, all featuring a 1066 MHz FSB. The highest-end part will be the quad-core QX9300 which will have a 45W TDP, 12MB L2 cache and a yet to be determined frequency. The full line-up of Montevina CPUs can be viewed in the chart below.
