Comparison between DS3R and the DS3L

Solid caps don't use electrolyte and supposedly last longer, but you aren't likely to be still using the board by the time the caps leak, really.

I think "Ultra durable" and solid caps go hand in hand on gigabyte products.

Well, that makes me a bit more confident about the DS3L. Both seem like great boards except they're just the revision. :snob: But I guess the DS3L would work as good as the DS3R, correct?

yea. you aren't going to reach the max of either on air anyway (assuming you don't plan on phase/LN2-ing it, etc :p )
 
Nope, not going to go towards Phase-Change Cooling or Liquid Nitrogen. Lol, that's just way to crazy for me. Maybe later when I'm older though. :) But by then, I'll be making money and getting a better board for overclocking. :p
