Solid caps don't use electrolyte and supposedly last longer, but you aren't likely to be still using the board by the time the caps leak, really.

I think "Ultra durable" and solid caps go hand in hand on gigabyte products.

Well, that makes me a bit more confident about the DS3L. Both seem like great boards except they're just the revision. :snob: But I guess the DS3L would work as good as the DS3R, correct?

yea. you aren't going to reach the max of either on air anyway (assuming you don't plan on phase/LN2-ing it, etc )

Nope, not going to go towards Phase-Change Cooling or Liquid Nitrogen. Lol, that's just way to crazy for me. Maybe later when I'm older though. But by then, I'll be making money and getting a better board for overclocking.
