Well, im pretty sad, ive seen some benchmarks on games like Prey and such where 2 3870's couldnt beat one GTX. Is that just because its not made for crossfire, or is that what i look forward too?

Well prey's an old game and old games tend to be CPU bound. New games like today are GFX bound like crysis. If you compare a 2.4ghz core 2 quad with a 2.4 celeron (Conroe-XL), you might have similar results, on prey that is.

I've got 2 x 3870's in crossfire. They are faster than a GTX in just about any DX9 or DX 10 game.
They're faster than SLI'd 8800 GT's on average.

And, they use less power than a GTX, or two GT's.
In fact, on idle, two 3870's use less power than a single GT

they'll beat 1 8800ultra also 2x8800gt's (probably even two 8800gts g92 because Crossfire owns SLi in scaling)

Prey is OpenGL right? ATI hasn't really optimized for OpenGL like Nvidia iirc so that may have something to do with it.
