the 6400+ be does thats the point of the be lol, but i still dont see the point of a fx chip, liek said the 6400+ is crazy fast stock, with an unlocked multiplier.

no, the 6400 is not unlocked upwards like the 5000 BE. i didnt think that it was.
it is unlocked from 16 down, while my 5000 is unlocked upwards to like 25 or something.
your guess is as good as mine about why exactly it is a black edition. i think maybe it is just because its the highest stock clock they make with a locked multiplier, compared to FX as fastest with unlocked. i really have no idea. in any event, it does not have the unlocked multiplier like the FX and 5000 BE chips.

at 2.4-2.8GHZ, yes.
But Phenom tents to scale better at higher frequencies
at XS, people have tested the Phenom's scaling, and it's very close to 100% performance gain per frequency increase.
that game was awesome...i thought i would get bored with all the shooting, but i got hooked.
the story was cool and it seemed like i was watching a jackie chan movie!

yes, I believe stock QX6800 gets just over 4K CPU score.
I see they're actually using descent RAM in that review. That's a bit of a change from a lot of phenom reviews.
When I get a Phenom, I think I'll get some DDR2-1066 RAM to go with it.
