go with the qx9650 or use your cash it as a down payment for another vehicle

Honestly, if you already have a q6600 and its running at a good speed, just keep it until nehalem comes out. The 45nm chips are only an incrimental upgrade, hardly worth the extra cash.

the new chips like the 9650 are also faster then the current core 2 quads when compared clock per clock, so itl over clock farther and just generally be faster, if your willing to spend 1k on a chip like that right now, id say dont lol, if you really wana spend money buy the q6600 now and wait for the q9450 or q9500, and you will be set.

as you allready have a q6600, i recomend just waiting for the other 45 nm chips, and i suggest this advice to anyone willing to buy s qx 9650 atm.
