I am running simplymepis 7.0 (it's amazing by the way) and yesterday I installed Qemu and installed a virtual machine inside it.
All went well until.....I RESTARTED!!! I got the message:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS:Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
So I rebooted and selected MEPIS at sda1, previous kernel (if any) and booted into the old kernel and everything was fine. So Qemu did something to my kernel.
What in the world happened to my kernel and how do I go about fixing this?
