i ran windows xp on 64 mg sdr ram a while ago it worked (worked like crap but still worked) i also ran it on a computer with 190 mb sdr ram as u r doing. it does the job so long as you dont run games or anythin like that on it my processor wasnt the best either on that computer 400 mhz itll be fine.

didi-- y do u say that?? all u need to run xp is 64mbs minimum, 128 recomended... 256 just to run crap comfortably.... but he may not do vid editing, or play games.

Win xp is a tricky Operating System, a lots of functions on it need to set manually such as tweaking. For my case, although i have 384MB ram n i tweaked my OS, after i enter my window, my system only left around 280-300MB ram, the rest all used as startup program, background services n etc. 1 of my friend that running win XP Pro, when entering window 256MB of physical ram gone already. So u see, if u only have 64MB ram, after entering window, how much physical ram u have ?
