I have a 8800gtx, the card makes a extremely high ( but barely noticable ) sound and it does it by howmany fps the games run at, its as if it actually makes a clicking noise for each fps it displays. I have not once had a freeze on my pc ( other than problems with explorer freezing ) I have never seen a game i have freeze. I googled information and i got from a die causing it to not enough power. Its being supplied by a 600 watt power with 28 amps i believe. Anyone else with a gtx having the same problem? thx.

i got the amps wrong its, 18 amps per each pci connector, so a total of 36 amps being delivered to the graphics card. i think 28 amps is need for the graphics. Blitersety, i see u also have a evga 8800 gtx, does urs make that noise on some games, it happens the most on halo with sync off or any other game for that matter? I do not overlock my pc tho. Do u think a score of 11500 is good for my setup shown below on 3dmark2006?

11500 for your non-overclocked pc is great. Mine got 11271 before I did any overclocking, so yours is just fine.

I did notice a high pitched noise one time while running a benchmark... I can't remember which one it was, but I do remember I was getting well over 200 fps. I just didn't worry about it though because it never does that any other time, not even on Halo.
