Hey guys, i have a budget (shameful) Nvidia 7300 GT card, and i have the GPU in the liquid cooling loop (was running stock cooling for a while, but decided to get the VGA waterblock and put it in the loop.) My Idle temps are in the 36 degree range (full load doesn't spike above 55) but it's WICKED slow, 3D benchmark gives me like 2 frames per second. I am thinking maybe it's because the RAM is overheating? The stock heatsink covered the RAM and the GPU, but the waterblock only covers the GPU. Sound like that could be the problem? and also, wat would you recommend? Thanks

well i just ran HL2 at native 1440 by 900 with everything on high, and i was averaging 60 FPS, so why is 3D Mark06 giving me no more than 5 FPS at the lowest settings?

I'm not sure but HL2 can't nearly be as demanding as 3dmark06. I run HL2 with everything on at 1680x1050 and I get no fps dips noticeable to the eye. But you can visually see slowdowns on 3dmark06 anyway. I wouldn't be that surprised.
