Q6600 - 2 CPU's

hi,
just installed my new q6600 with freezer 7 pro
I'm just wondering why when i go into dxdiag it says that the cpu only has 2 "cpu's" ?
Does this mean that my computer isnt using the quad core to its full potential or is this just what it says?
I'm running Vista Ultimate 32bit if that makes a difference...

your pc may need a BIOS flash to recognise the other 2 cores.

Ok.
I went into bios and went to CPU configuration and then made it so all the CPU cores were enabled - when i found it only 2 were. This seems to have fixed the problem and Dxdiag now recognises it as having 4 cores.
