My old pentium 4 based pc motherboard took a crap on me, so i decided its time to build a semi-new pc. Ive been wanting to build a new one anyway. This is a super budget build as i do not have alot of money to spend, but need a pc.
Tell me if there is any compatability issues please.

Cd Drives - Already owned Samsung Dvd/Cd-Rw Combo drive and Lite-On Cd-Rw drive. Dvd-rw to replace the Lite-On in the near future.

Sound Card - Already owned 5.1 Dynex (No name?) sound card. I bought it only because i got 5.1 speakers, and my current onboard was 2.1. Ill either use this or onboard sound, depending on what one i think sounds better and what one has better software. (Current one has low grade software.)

Grand Total: $279.46
Thats what I mean by Super Budget.

1) Would the brisbane be any better?
2) 350w is weak for gefore 8000 series cards that i want to upgrade to in the future, is it not? PSUs are one of the only things i dont know much about.

1. Yours is the Brisbane too.. its just yours is just a 4000+ Brisbane thats just overclocked 200mhz more.. nothing really..
2. 350w isn't something you should look at, go check the specs of the Amperage on the 12v Rails, if you look at it, the Thermaltake has less than the Silverstone, and the Silverstone 350w would be better with an 8 series card actually because of it

Ok ok, ill change that. Other then that, it looks good? Im still a bit iffy on the 350ws only.

Wait, i just realized, it doesnt have a pci-e connector on it.

Your gonna want a pci-express spot on the MB.

I also would not go chinsy on the PSU. If you get a bad brand/model you risk your whole system. Enermax has some nice cheap solutions.

I was going to get that, but i need a serial port for my external dial up modem, dial up SUCKS.
