Ive tested my power supply by putting a paper clip into the live (GREEN) and ground (BLACK) it worked for a second and stopped. Corsair say this is one way of testing it. I presume my PSU is faulty ? Or is there any way to fix other than sending it back cause its a pain to send back as i bought it online ?

Test it with a case fan connected. If the case fan doesn't spin, your's is faulty.

Sending it back, is a pain. But what else are you going to do? Throw it out, and buy a new one? Just RMA it.

Had it in my new build and the fans spin for a second and then stop. Tried just 1 fan and nothing so presume its faulty. GREAT was all excited about getting it up and running oh well looks like another few weeks away. Thanks for the reply
