Prescott or Northwood?

Do you specifically have to buy Intel?

I'll recommend AMD Athlon-FX 53 (939 pin version), that rocks.

anyway, Northwood is still better than prescott. this 9 micron wafer, + SSe3 + L2 =1MB didnt brought that much significant performance gap, but as if you want intel, want to burn money, then buy Prestonia 3.2/3.4 (Desktop Edition).

Northwood is better for now with gaming, unless you can afford the higher end Prescotts above 3.4ghz which is where the Northwood line stops
