laptop help!

I need a sub 450 dollar laptop, and i need it to atleast be 1.6ghz proc, 1 gig of ram, and a 40gb harddrive at the minimum.

Any ideas? the best i can get on any big sites like dell is 500+

what do you mean? the cheapest laptop on hp, dell, and a few other very large companys is 500, im hoping i can get one for around 350, but i understand i might not be able to. i cant spend more than 450 though

I got my toshiba a135-4666 for $399 brand new. It has a 1.7ghz pentium dual core, 1gb ram, 80gb hdd, dvd burner, 15.4 inch screen. Just check your local best buy, office depot, staples, etc ads on sundays because that is when the new deals come out. I had to go to office depot a little before 9:00am, because that is when it opens and there was already a little group of people waiting to go inside. If you go later, then it will probably be sold out.
